I use the menu View in Vegas for all my types of personal lay-outs for each goal I want to use. What is different with those other NLE's?

I love the way Avid MC , Davinci , Premiere do organise different screen lay-outs with a single click ( on top of each screen ) .

Don't expect too much.

In a way, VGEAS Pro has quit the competition with mainstream NLEs such as Premiere, Resolve, FCPX, AVID, Edius since Sony sold it. The gap between vegas and them may be more and more big in the future. Be psychologically prepared.

I love the way Avid MC , Davinci , Premiere do organise different screen lay-outs with a single click ( on top of each screen ) . One lay-out for timeline editing , one for color grading , one for .. etc... and switching between those is instantly . Each lay-out can be personalised . That would be a very interesting feature for vegas pro as well .

Don't you find that odd? Switching tabs? I do.

Btw, in Vegas, windows layout can easily be changed using keyboard shortcuts:
