Hello,
I found a bug with nested project in Vegas Pro 16.0.248.
I ceate a easy nested lower third and place in master project.
After I open this master project I allways have a error report:

Great job on the error reporting. I will make sure the team is aware. Have you included all of the dependent media those projects use? the proejcts won't open properly without it.

Exactly I share all media of the problem occurred.
And the problem also occurs when saving a master project.

Thanks for the helpful feedback. I've passed this along to the development team, know they are aware of it and are working on a fix as soon as possible (the fix will need to be thoroughly tested before it can be released, they don't want to create 10 new problems fixing one, so please be patient).

In the mean time, I'd suggest rendering your lower third into a video clip (if animated) or still image with alpha transparency and then overlaying the text you want it to contain, instead of using a nested project. That should work for the time being.

@musko It seems like this is fixed in VEGAS Pro 16 Update 2 (build 307). Your master project opens OK for me. There was a similar case in this thread and the comment there from MagixDerek indicated that it "should hopefully be gone in the next update". Can you confirm?

Hello Nick,
I can confirm, it seems that everything is fine in build 307.

Thank you
