Button image stretching (Vegas Movie Studio Pt 17)

Mary-Judkins wrote on 10/11/2020, 5:13 PM

I just bought Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 17 today, and right after I open the program for the first time, I get things like this when I mouse over buttons.

I've already tried reinstalling it, restarting my computer, checking for driver updates, everything. Nothing has fixed it so far.

Here are my specs:

Any help at all is beyond appreciated.

Probably similar issue like I had in VP18, in my experience, this caused by a Nahimic Module used by Sonic Solution applications (I had it from Asus ROG system).

It was discussed in detail here:

See if the same solution can also solve problem for VMS pt 17

I've seen NahimicSvc32 and 64 running in task manager. I've looked through both my Devices Manager and Programs and I can't seem to find anything called Nahimic.

Nevermind, found it!! It was in msconfig.exe listed as a Windows service, and I went ahead and disabled it. After restarting my PC, the stretching is nowhere to be found. Thank you!
