Can I render projects from vegas pro 15 in the 16 pro version?

sorry if it's a noob question but i just created a huge project in vegas 15 in the trial and it says it must be under 2 minutes or i can't render it. and appearantly the vegas pro 16 version is cheaper than vegas 15. thanks for answers!

Vegas Pro versions are backward compatible with older versions. Exceptions might be for plug-ins that were on the older version but not available or licensed on the newer version.

A full license for Vegas 16 will remove any project size limitation.
