Can someone please help me with stabilizing this clip?

Hey guys. So this clip was recorded with camera glasses, so the footage is super shaky. Does anybody think that it is possible to salvage this clip, and take out all of that horrible shakiness!? I would really appreciate it if someone could take a second to play around with the footage, and see if it is possible to make the clip look decent. Thanks a lot!

You can't do a good job at stabilising shaky footage shot at 1/60th of a second shutter speed due to high motion blur. The data is lost. If you have original interlaced video use QTGMC for a high quality deinterlace. I don't use happy otter scripts for vegas pro but that would be the simplest way of doing that. The shaky footage should look much better & stabiliser have better chance of keeping track.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, but what do you mean by this sentence?

"If you have original interlaced video use QTGMC for a high quality deinterlace. I don't use happy otter scripts for vegas pro but that would be the simplest way of doing that"

Happy Otter Scripts and QTGMC are tools to transform interlaced footage into progressive material. It can also be done with Vegas itself. It is easier and very good. However, a previously improperly edited video can not be restored.

Help may be possible if you provide us with the original interlaced video.

I had assumed you were asking here about stabilisation because it failed and I thought that would be due to the noticable deinterlacing artifacts . Without crop you can see it tracks ok. I think you have vegas17, does it have problems using internal stabilisation?

Duh ... too much shake!

btw - if possible, upload the clip via google drive or dropbox etc....I'm a little concern if directly uploaded here will recompress and modify the video.

Why not break up the 15 second sequence into a series of stills, with voice over? After all, the audio is identifying a series of items -- i.e., stills. Perhaps add key frames to impart a bit of motion to each still picture. It's not perfect, but probably will look a lot better than attempts to stabilize this roller-coaster footage.
