can't get movie studio to render audio

have been using movie studio for over 10 years but not for a while. now have 16 and when render can't get audio.

get error code -1 and tried all remedies without success. I am connected to internet but it won't download what I need to make it work.

Please help. This is with various different types of files including .avi, .mov
