Can't open VM17 Platinum

Had vegas 17 platimum for about 6 months no issues, tonight just won't initialise, re installed software get same, some times tries to open but most of GUI not show, any ideas why tonight it is doing this?

Possibly a Windows update buy try these:

Shutting down VMS then restarting again
Shut down your pc then restart and retry
Reset VMS to "factory" settings https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ Whilst written for Vegas pro it also applies to VMS but make sure you clear the cache.

Have just updated the only optional update in windows, cleared cache now not opening at all just loading all the time

When it does load just get blue spinning and not responding has only done this tonight .
