When cutting to music I often use markers at the beats. However since the marker lines go vertically right across all tracks they can obscure the view. Is there a way of temporarily hiding the markers?

If you use Vegasaur there is a tool called "Demote Markers". It turns timeline markers into media markers which are visible inside the single events only and which can be set to on/off via the Vegas' View menu.

Does it Demote Markers to all Events on all Tracks? What happens when you reveal or Promote Markers back? Where do they reappear? If you edit, move an Event how and where do the Promoted Markers reappear?
Solved by saving markers to file in Vegasaur then deleting them. When I want them back I just import from file. Job done with few clicks.
