Sorry, need to be more specific... what version and what build do you use.

Also, please post mediainfo of the GH4 file.

additional info all the GH4 files are 4K

I found out elsewhere Vegas does not recognize Panasonic GH4 MP4 Files, including DJI Drones MP4 files.
Rats I just upgraded to Vegas 14.

I found out elsewhere Vegas does not recognize Panasonic GH4 MP4 Files, including DJI Drones MP4 files.
Rats I just upgraded to Vegas 14.

Got DJI Osmo's footage here, and saved as MOV wrapper... but no matter what extension file... it is still uses compoundplug.dll

Using samples from http://www.dvc.uk.com/acatalog/GH4-Sample-footage.html - I able to read plant.mp4, tree.mp4, beach_uhd.mp4 - but it seems the hosted samples' durations are shorter than reported on file's properties.

Tree.MP4 for example, specified 17 secs, but when played back with Win Media player, it's just 6 secs? - put into VP14's timeline, after 00:05:18 - it's just blank.

Not true! Vegas does support gh4 files, both mp4 and mov. I use these all the time. Can you post a small GH4 clip of yours for download?

All my GH4 and DJI OSMO files play great in VP14, including those of exactly the spec in edward-m's post.
