Cant render anything inn vegas pro 21

Nicholas-Attard wrote on 6/1/2024, 6:41 AM

Nothing will render, I hit the render as and get the render option window to pop up but then when I select my options and hit render it just closes the pop up and the rendering pop up never comes...

I've tried reinstalling and still the same issue persists... I spent way too much money on this software to have a new problem with it every couple of weeks... please tell me someone knows how to fix this lol.

Uninstalling and re-installing Vegas Pro doesn't always solve problems as the cache is not cleared. Try resetting Vegas Pro 21 back to its default (factory) settings using the procedure outlined here:

https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

... making sure to check and OK the clear cache option.

With the reset back to the default settings not solving the problem, it's time to ask for a heap more information about your computer specifications, your Vegas Pro build and the media as requested in points B & C in https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/

Hopefully you've used Vegas Pro 21's update alerts to update to build 315.

Not necessarily, whilst CC Cleaner is good to have in general, Magix support often recommends Revo Uninstall which I have personally been using for many years. Revo can remove left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the OS uninstall leaves behind, which can cause issues to reoccur..
Revo Uninstall has a pro and a freeware version. The free version is adequate in most cases unless a 'forced uninstall' is needed.
That said I would first try the resetting Vegas .
