capture DVBT tuner comapre to cyberlink powerDirector

Hi i test PowerdDirector 15 ( PD) and i don't expect to be able to capture my DVT T usb Card ( Pinnacle PCTV 340 e) .

But PD support capture card . So because Vegas PRo ( VP) support Microsoft OS and open to third component ..i ll was expected that i could do the same using VP but not ! ...... Even this kind of functionnalities is not the main thing a video editor should support ... Could this functionnalities be update in VP ? If you have a look to PD gui , the top list icon show that PD support from left ro right

-DV Camcorder

-HDV Camcorder

-TV signal ( composite connector connect to DVBT usb key )

-Digital TV signal

-webcam

-microphone

-CD

-external optical device

-Screen

 

Why not a way to record many source at the same time in different hard disk to help CPU !

Since Vegas pro is a software where can i find a changelog file like common git web server project ?

Vegas Pro is a video editor originally and primarily designed to edit camera video. The capture support was there to allow users to capture video off tape when cameras used tape.

Look for another application to record from various tuners. I use BeyondTV to record over the air ATSC video streams. There are other programs including utilities that often ship with the hardware. Most people here would never want that functionality to be added to Vegas Pro.

Thank's for your replies ...I don't know Beyond . I see not only Cyberlink PowerDriector suport DVB but also power Cinema with a cyberlink plug in but those softwares and plugin are not maintain and only power DVD is available and don't support DVB streaming. THheadend and DVB Dream or J river are some other software for pvr ....
