Hello,
I was wondering if it was possible to change the default windows blue accent color within Vegas Pro for menu selection items, button colors, and all of that within the UI.
Now I realize this could easily change by changing my Windows accent color, however, changing my color settings on my Windows 10 computer changes the accent color for quite literally every other program on my PC except for Vegas Pro.
So I took a step in further and looked through my Windows Registry. I altered a few registries to change menu options, buttons, text highlights, window highlights, and my accent color through my registries to see if it'd apply within Vegas Pro as well.
Here are the registry directories that I altered:
- Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\Colors
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Themes\Personalize
- Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SystemProtectedUserData\(UserID)\AnyoneRead\Colors
Unfortunately, after looking all over google, reddit, and the Vegas forums, I haven't seen anyone looking into this. None of the registry keys that I altered to a different color worked on Vegas Pro. Vegas Pro is still using the default windows blue color (as shown in the picture attached). Obviously, I've tried looking through the internal preferences of Vegas Pro to see if there was anything I can change regarding the accent color of the program, but I didn't find anything. All I saw were the typical options to change the color of basic things within Vegas Pro.
