I purchased my copy of Vegas Pro 21 and was able to disable the splash screen image by typing in "TRUE" on the internal menu. Of the billions of images that could have been used, I will never understand why they chose such a stupid photo to represent the application.

The image is thematic, representing the current marketing push to engage social media content producers.

However, the camera angle is either deliberate or a photoshoot fail, depending on the person observing the graphic.

Indeed, the Vegas Pro 21 splash screen image is so stupid and so annoying! It is very unprofissional and looks very ugly to the extent that I have to look away everytime I start vegas otherwise it will drive me crazy! I just can not stand this stupid and annoying photo!

Magix, please remove the stupid photo and just replac it with simple and profissional looking graphics like in the past.

I managed to hide the splash screen using the Internal menu, as described earlier in this thread. It is sad that we have to do this, splash screens are very useful. I am a professional programmer, and implement splash screens whenever I see them serve a purpose.

In this case - Vegas 21, I myself got a headache from that screen. I started closing my eyes and wait some time, hoping that the main Vegas application had started, and that awkward picture gone away.
I got my first PC 30 years ago. I have installed and used countless applications during this time.
But I have never experienced that I have had this kind of reaction because of a splash screen.

Just upgraded to Build 300 - and guess what - now a new great splash image showed up.
