Changed File/io settings because of black flickering now don't work.

Hi! I changed my File/io settings while working on a project in Vegas Pro 18 because i had black flickering within my preview and rendering and saw a thread which would fix this issue. But now instead all my files are just black with audio and i can't manage to fix it even reverting the changed settings. I've reset the settings, i've tried making a new project from scratch but the files which i used and was able to display now even within a new project remains black screen with audio. I have GPU acceleration turned off which i found was a solution so that does not help. I'm absolutly lost in what to do about this issue and hope someone here has a solution for me.

First thing to try is to reset Vegas Pro back to its default (factory) settings following this procedure.

If that doesn't solve the problem, please refer to https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/important-information-required-to-help-you--110457/ and provide detailed information as requested under points B & C including a detailed MediaInfo report as per point C-1. MediaInfo is a free app.

Also, have you got installed the latest driver for your computer's GPU? If an NVIDIA GPU, it ideally should be the Studio driver, not the Game Ready driver.

Under file io there is a default settings button. Press it and restart Vegas.
