Save your windows layout in View > Windows Layouts > Save Layout or Save Layout As...
Saving the window does not work. Of course, if you load it again, the windows will be sorted correctly. But every time I open Vegas, I do not want to load my profile from View > window layout > etc... My windows are according like to vegas 14. Maybe there is a bug. Because if I set to default layout, then is it ok. But in vegas 15 is trimmer with preview windows together and i don't like it :/
My VP15 build 261 opens with the windows as they were when I last closed it. Windows layouts are in %APPDATA%\VEGAS Pro\15.0 but I'm afraid I can't find a file that controls which layout is used.
The pointer to the last window layout is saved in "Internal Preferences".
