hey everyone! I'm turning to this site since I've pretty much run out of options as far as trying to fix this problem myself, as this is such a specific issue that no matter how many times I try to do my own research to fix it absolutely nothing comes up.
so here's my problem! I'm working on an animated tweening video and everything's going fine, when I save and close the program to grab some dinner and come back and reopen the project to find that the timeline clipping got messed up?? like?? oh gosh how do I describe this
the beginnings and ends of the clips seem to land in between frames on the timeline. When I use the arrow keys to go from one frame to the next, it just passes right over it. The little bar cursor on the timeline won't even line up to it when I click on the clip's edge
that, and now my second (and I feel like related) issue, is that whenever I go to edit some pan/crop effects I've added, some of the keyframes I've placed down will no longer be able to be accessible and editable. It's like the same with my clips, they seem to suddenly have shifted in between frames and it won't let me get to them??
I can use the "next keyframe" buttons to snap to them, and then cut > copy them into an actual frame slot, and sometimes that'll fix it and sometimes it won't. Sometimes it'll let me click on the "stuck" keyframe, but I can't do anything in the workspace to edit it, it just won't budge
anybody know what's up, and how I can fix this? It's super frustrating and I don't know what to do! any help would be SO so appreciated, thanks for taking the time to look this over!
for reference - I'm using Sony Vegas Pro 14, a legally obtained copy I purchased from a Humble Bundle deal, I run Windows 10, my computer was custom built with a 1 terabyte Seagate BarraCuda internal drive and a Radeon RX560 graphics card, and all my "clips" are still images I drew and then imported into vegas to edit and animate
