Try convert the stock video mp4, say to ProRes or MagixAVC.

I had similar issue when editing some stockfootages.

My daughter record gameplay with OBS to 1080-60p h264 mp4 format.

She use latest Vegas pro and have crash, freeze in every 5 minutes.

We just bought Vegas19 and she is not happy at all.

Every other app works fine.
All drivers are up to date (win10-64bit,1050ti, ryzen 5-600, ssd..)
It's better when we use legacy avc in the settings.

But why?! Known bug?

I don't do gameplay editing a lot, but so far I heard:

If you are recording the gameplay with OBS with encoder hardware nVidia, it is quite unstable. Someone recommends to do software with low CPU usage preset but increased file size. Try test this.

I can't change it, the option is not there

Former user wrote on 5/20/2022, 3:48 AM

@Roger-Trigo so if you click on it & the option isn't there

try Geforce Experience https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/geforce-experience/

once you download it you'll get an App with a Drivers window

Thank you so much. My doubt now is that if those drivers will harm the video game experience

@Roger-Trigo Sorry i don't know, i don't game, you can switch over the drivers whenever you want but it does seem to download each time you change so it's not just the switch of a button, you'll have to play & see,

Nvidia has a forum https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/
