Click OPEN the "Application Setting" drop down menu.

Click APPLY - VERY important!
Click the drop down arrow in "Application Setting" drop down menu.
Locate and select the "Sony - Vegas Pro 13" settings
THEN click "Options" >> "Create New Settings" >> "Copy Contents from Current Settings" and navigate to C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 14.0\vegas140.exe - SELECT it and the VEGAS14.EXE will appear in the "Application setting" window.
Yes, I understand, you've done nothing more than edit my instructions using the text for this for VP14 - I understand. And guess what? - No! - I can not get CSP to function.
Working in VP12, VP13, WORD, FireFox . . .etc etc.
I've tried countless times now. I'm going to download the latest CSP2 Drivers.
Before I had setup CSP for MAGIX14 I had taken my CSP2 to an OFFSITE Event - meaning I had UNPLUGED the CSP2 from the PC.
Having now uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, which didn't make it work, I further read that I needed to unplug the CSP2, install drivers and THEN plug in the CSP2.
On top of a probable soured driver set, the issue I'd introduced was that I hadn't configured CSP prior to removing the CSP USB Device. Meaning that the CSP hadn't had the initial USB setup after VP14 install. Now, having read that installing cleanly the CSP drivers, this HAS to be done prior to replugging back in the CSP USB. This I have now proved as the CSP USB now works. Maybe I should add this to my CSP configure/install process!

You asked me what adaption to your steps I used, and I told you exactly what worked for me, using your method as a template to make it as simple as possible for you to understand. And I didn't just change the number 13 to 14. Anyway, glad you've got it working.
Nick, knowing you had followed my same steps confirmed, with the text changes, made me think further and deeper into the issue, thank you.
This issue of unplugging the CSP USB prior to setting up the newly installed VP14 and the possible need for a freshing-up the drivers got it working again.
OK . . . .I had VP14 running in Administrator Mode. Why? You tell me . . . . SO, switched it off and now even after reboot CSP Drivers and Settings work again and solid.
Grazie, I have a hard time to digest all the rounds on this thread. My CSP doesn't work since VP14 and I haven't actually tried to fix it yet. Don't have the time to experiment. Since you obviously figured it out, would you mind writing a step by step procedure for how to do it? That would be very appreciated.
