"COPY" Image

FoskeyMedia wrote on 7/6/2017, 10:07 AM

This is another one of those... 'just thought I'd ask' questions...

Is there anyway to "COPY AN IMAGE" directly into Vegas without using a 3rd party. Whithout going into all of the question of How and WHy.... I don't have the file to download, but can copy the image into my clipboard. Is there anyway of getting Clipboard images into Vegas, or does everything have to be imported in as a file??

I have a .pdf that I'm taking screen shots from and would rather not use a 3rd party to get it into Vegas

Thank you, That's what I'm trying to avoid. A 3rd party.

Vegas Pro needs a file type including header information which both isn't available this way.

THanks. That's what I thought. I was hoping there was a work around....like when we do a capture and can save it as a jpg or png.

Go to windows search, type 'snip', click the snipping tool. Use it. Done.

No. The sniping tool is still 3rd party and the file still needs to be saved and imported in.

Why is this a problem?

I'm asking if there is a way to paste a photo into Vegas without using a 3rd party or any non-vegas utilities.

No there isn't. Vegas does not create the source material, it has to access it so it needs a file reference.
