Crash on rendering or changing Save settings

Whenever I try to render video or changes the settings to save a project to my hard drive, Movie Studio 15 crashes. What can be done to fix this situation?

Perhaps try a reset: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/ (instructions given for Vegas Pro but also works on Vegas Movie Studio). Make sure you tick the option to delete the cache. If you can't get it to start while holding down Ctrl+Shift and clicking the program icon, try clicking the program icon to start it and then *immediately* hold down Ctrl+Shift while it is starting.
