Crashes at rendering audio

Kolo-Barrera wrote on 11/5/2024, 10:02 PM

Hello there,

Hope someone helps me here becasue that crash report and email I sent everytime is not helping.

Everytime I am about to render audio on Vegas Pro (max 60sec audio) the program crashes. Then it gives me this widow to report it and nobody gets back.

I have to restart the program at least 7 times until it lets me render.

Thanks for your time!

What is the error message in the Window? Can you paste it in here?

What format are you trying to render to? MP3? WAV? What version of VEGAS is it?

Hello Rogers!

Thanks for your time!

Most of the time I render to mp3 / 320, but when it crashes, it does not let me get to that point. Once I click o File-Render, it crashes

I already uninstall and install and looking for a software up date.

This is the info it gives me.

I found some bugs with MP3 renders when I chose a variable audio bitrate. You are saying you've having trouble with event the constant bitrate 320kbps setting.

One workaround could be rendering a PCM wav file and then producing a MP3 from that using other software.

I see. When they asked to buy the vegas pro21, I did and it could not render or read to mp3s, I talked to them and they say they did not know what was happening. I think that version of Vegas pro21 was not ready when they asked me to get it. They asked me to uninstall and install. I did and then it work with the mp3s.

Since then I have not try only wav. I will do that.

thanks!

It's possible a reset might help: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

Really VEGAS should be able to read and write MP3s.
