Been having this issue for years on 13 and now 14. It's easily the biggest problem with the software. Very often when I am playing through the video project and then cut or delete a clip the thing freezes and crashes or freezes and continues to play (audio) all the way until the end of the project at which point THEN everything unfreezes. I believe this only happens if auto-ripple is on. Either way, this happens to me at least once per video I edit.
