Credit roll text in Magix Vegas Pro 19 & 20 don't work

Hello. I have a problem and I need help to solve it. I have to do a credit roll text in Magix Vegas Pro 20 (built 214) and I constantly receive the same message:
"Problem Description
    Application Name: VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 20.0 (Build 214)
    Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xe0434352)
    Fault Module: C:\WINDOWS\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
    Fault Address: 0x00007FFD8F7ECD29
    Fault Offset: 0x000000000002CD29"
I also tried with the Vegas Pro 19 version (built 643) Same message.
In desperation, I reinstalled an older version, Vegas Pro17 which actually works! What is wrong with the new "improved" versions?
How many more versions do I need to buy to be able to use the software in good conditions?

@Cristian_Neagu What specifically are you doing with the credit roll when you see this crash?

Cristian_Neagu wrote on 12/22/2022, 11:55 AM

Nothing, I have to restart the software, again, and again and again. I can't do anything, at first there was also the video editing, after which I gave up and tried to do it in pieces, only the final text.

@Cristian_Neagu
If you do really nothing, nothing will crash.
Try to describe step by step what you are doing before the software crashes.
Derek will try to reproduce the error.

Here's what I do, at the end of a video montage I want to put a text scroll with the cast of the film, these are the steps. Basically, I don't get to do anything spectacular, the other credits work without problems, only when I select credit roll does it crash. I think that in the end, after I finish the projects at work, I will reinstall WIN 10 completely clean. It didn't work even in the VegasPro 19 version, we hope that the problem will be solved in the last one. Thanks anyway for your time.

Adding different credit roll works for me in both VP19 build 550 and VP 20 build 214.
So seems that there must be some other error.
Have you tried a reset yet? Please follow the procedure exactly and clear the cache:

I reset and nothing new appeared. I probably have to reinstall everything clean. I wasted another day trying to solve a problem, that's it. Thanks again for the advice. What I don't understand, why does it work with VP 17?

If it is an emergency, you could create the credit roll in V17 and export as a lossless video file to V19 or V20.

Thanks, that's exactly what I did, already. I am trying to make up for lost time to hand in the project on time. A break until after the winter holidays, it doesn't hurt. Thank you gentlemen for your support.
