CURIOSITY !! How VEGAS team get noticed about every bug user reported?

this community is good enough for most of problems solutions bcoz of some experienced members who helped needy users.

but when in a thread even those exp. members can't solve problems and suppose that thread has many comments. then how VEGAS team get that bug or problem's information or how can a user can report that bug or problem to a developers or is there any other hidden method by which VEGAS team get known about these consistent bugs. ??

The VEGAS team is here on the forum as are beta testers who can test, replicate and report bugs.

Users can also file error reports if there's a crash and link to a thread here.

If nobody seems to be listening or able to help, you can also file a support request.

Both beta testers and the development team regularly monitor the forum. If someone provides sufficient details about an issue, enabling us to reproduce it, this forms the basis for the development team to fix a bug. Without reproduction, there can be no correction.

wait a minute.. if all beta testers and development team has a best machine and graphics then they can't reproduce a small machine user's bugs. Because u know not everybody can take high configurated machine.

so how can they know we are facing that bug or problem literly.

like in this thread i was facing issue on some particular video clips with some different properties.

first problem get solved then again some problem occurs. Other people don't get that errors but some faces same.

how will developers react if they don't get that bug or problem reproduced but user is still getting it.

Many of us users here have older computers- I'm typing on a laptop from 2017. I've replicated many bugs in 21 that others have reported here on the forum. Hopefully that's helpful for the development.

But if only one user reports a bug and nobody can replicate it, it likely won't be a priority to solve.

okay then what options that user will have? Keep facing those issues or change software or change machine. At least there should be solution for every single person even he is only single person who is facing that issue.

Sometimes i too quit on VEGAS when i don't get any solutions. when everyone is saying. All good from my side. I am confuse with this single person solution system.

@iEmby Hi, I just want to say that when i try your clips & post 'All good from my side' I'm just trying to show that your file can be played, I'm well aware that my pc is different to yours & a bit more powerful but if there's a problem with the media or there's a bug in Vegas it will still show regardless of my pc specs. Other people trying your clips also helps narrow down a possible culprit for the problem, AMD vs Intel, or AMD vs Nvidia etc.. 👍

Who said you need the best machine available? 

Vegas has minimum specifications that should be met.

However, it seems you frequently encounter issues. This may stem from your machine, but I cannot ascertain that with certainty.

@iEmby According to my years of observation, they don't have the necessary workflow to tell you whether your bug has been noticed or whether it is valuable to enter their fix list. Everything of your bug post needs you to wait and guess. And pray for God's blessing.

Sometimes, your bug will be fixed within a few months, and sometimes it will take years. And it all depends on them.

At that point, if there isn't an obvious workaround and others here can't help you, file a support request.

This is a peer to peer forum, there is only so much we can do.
