I need to reinstall Windows 10 and want to know if I need to deactivate Vegas Pro 13 first. There is no Deactivate option in Vegas 13 - that must have started later. Any idea?
Thanks very much. I"m on v. 13, so #9 doesn't apply, but #10 would. Except I can't see my registered license at either the Sony nor the Magix site. That's the biggest issue, as I need to reinstall Windows and don't know if I am going to lose one activation.
Try it first to install again with your serial and might you encounter a problem (that I don't beleive is coming) afterwards contact Magix Service Center with that issue.

That's a good idea, but there seems to be significant lag time in their reply and I would prefer to confirm the deactivation if possible before I do the install.
Thanks. I have the serial number and am trying to confirm whether or not I need to deactivate before doing a fresh install of Win 10. I can't see my license at either the Sony nor the Magix page, but I have a legit copy of R13 and have been using it for years...

Than it stays your question, because this is a user forum
If the license is not showing up on your account page, it must have been registered under a different email address. Contact sales support for help in this case.
Ya, I wrote both Magix and Sony over a week ago - no reply ;-) Must be insane in some of those companies, so thought I would try the forum... Nothing urgent, after all...
