As you state that you are using Sony Vegas Pro, you must be referring to Sony Vegas Pro 13 or earlier. Sony era versions have a separate licensing system to Vegas Pro 14+. Please see point 9 in:

... as you may have to contact VEGAS support to get your activations reset.

I am using Sony Vegas 15

There is no such thing as Sony Vegas 15. Please see https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/sony-vegas-vs-vegas--119881/

If you bought/acquired Sony Vegas Pro 15 from a website offering it as being Sony, then you have a pirated/cracked version of Vegas Pro 15.

I use Sony Vegas on two computers and therefore deactivate the software on my laptop before using it on my PC. This has never been a problem before. Recently I got this error message: "Unable to deactivate. The program may have already been deactivated for this program". But it wasn't, since I can continue to use it on my laptop without any problems. In addition, "Error code -65" appears. so I can't disable Vegas on my laptop to use it on my computer. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do about it?

A similar post from a couple of years ago re error code 65 - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/deactivation-unsuccessful-error-code-65--121049/

It looks like you'll need to contact Vegas Support about this.
