I got this error message when trying to pull up an HD animation I down loaded from digital juice. I have used other .MOV files. I am running windows 10 and the latest version of Vegas Pro 16 build 361. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The file does play on the windows media player just cant get it into Vegas I did do some searching but couldn't find a solution. Thanks for your help

Vegas is able to decode some but not all MOV files. Download and install Quicktime.

Or download and install Happy Otter Scripts and see if Import Assist can help. You may have other problems with the Quicktime. For example, files requiring Quicktime are limited to about 40 clips (it's a 32 bit program).

It is only one clip in the project. I'll try downloading and install QuickTime. I was not sure if that is an issue with windows 10

I don't think you will have an issue with Win10, I never have.

Thanks all. I downloaded and installed quick time and it resolved the issue. Just hope it didn't create any new ones 😀
