Does anyone know what the 'life is a stage' option is in the list of extended preferences? I guess it's a coder's inside joke - does it do anything if you change the value?
Hi.it's actually 'All life''s a stage'. It's in internal preferences. Scroll down and its just above a group of color grading options. You can't search for it. It's in 22 Pro. Please let me know if you have any luck!
I can't find that "All life's a stage" entry in Internal Preferences in either builds 237 or 239 of Vegas Pro 22. Was your copy of Vegas Pro 22 downloaded and installed from MAGIX's website? If not, from which website did you get Vegas Pro 22 from?
Build 194 yes downloaded from website registered etc
Thank you. Every time that you open Vegas Pro 22 build 194, the program should be 'bugging' you to update to build 239. Please update to build 239 and report back if the "All life's a stage" entry still appears in Internal Preferences. BTW, you can also update by going to the Vegas Pro 22 listing under 'My Products' on your MAGIX My Account and using the installer to update.
I have a reasonably stable version atm. Apart from having to create a new project and render a few frames of a solid colour before I render my current project and a few crashes a day I'm not going to do anything with regard to updating until I've finished the current work I'm doing. It's not bugging me to update
I guarantee you I have a legit version of Vegas Pro 20 and that option appears under internal preferences as well. So it has been there a while. But it doesn't show up when you search.
Ok, I see it now but you can't find it by typing in "All" or life" or "stage" or even ' in the search box. But if you click on "Name" at the top, it does appear in the correct location in the "sorted" list.

Yep that works but - It disappears if you first typed something in the search box, delete whatever you typed & then press Name to arrange the sort order. When this post came up I searched by typing in the search box, couldn't find anything, so clicked the Name to arrange the sort order but still found nothing. .. 🤷♂️ .
