Does Vegas 15 has responds slowly on a 34" Screen?

Since getting my new 34" display/working monitor I've come to realize that the Vegas 15 version 15.0 (Build 261), I've noticed an annoying lag or delayed response after entering a keystroke or mouse click. Has anyone experienced a slowness when operating with Vegas 15. This lag could have been present with my old monitor, as I did very little Vegas 15 editing with the old monitor.

  1. I am using Windows 10 Pro Version 1709 OS Build 16299.125
  2. Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4771 CPU @ 3.5 GHz
  3. RAM 16.0 GB
  4. 64 bit OS x64 based processor
  5. 465 GB C: RAM Drive (365 used)
  6. 3.63 TB D: Storage Drive (2.51 used)
  7. Nvidia GeForce 760 HW Display board running Version 3.11.0.73

There have been reports of sluggish preview response with Vegas 15.

John, thx for the feedback. I want to compare Vegas 14 to Vegas 15 with a similar set of pictures.

Right now Vegas 15 has 1 to 2 sec delay (mouse click or Keyboard entry) and I’ve tried Preview Draft vs Best Full and didn’t notice any significant change.

It may be I don’t have something setup properly.

Did you change resolution from FHD to UHD?
