I'm trying to render a video with the template: AVCHD 1920x1080-60i. When I click render, I get a note saying: "The selected encode format requires the download of an add-on software module the first time the format is used." I click Yes, and I get an Operational error: "Download failed. Install DL path: "C:\Users\Drumm\AppData\Local\Movie Studio Platinum\16.0\VEGAS-option-install.dat"
Any idea how to fix this? I'm using Movie Studio 16 Platinum
Do you have your MS16P installed in your C Drive Program folder and does the AppData folder mentioned in the error message exist.
Another thought - possibly your security system is blocking the download installation?

Yes, MS16P is installed in my C drive in Program Files, and the file does exist in the AppData folder.
How would I check my security system?
I was originally getting the -1 error code and followed the VEGAS Help Center post Here, it cleared the -1 error but now it won't download.
Try disabling your security temporarily while it tries to download.
