DVD Architect Build 100

Hello, everyone.

I am trying to figure out what is wrong. I am trying to make a Blu-ray and I have been having issues. I tried to fix stuff in the optimize and it doesn't work. Files for everything were all separately encoded in Vegas and re-joined but kept crashing. I tried joining the files together in TSMuxer and made of the files work on the encoding but not completely. The error message I got is:

Status: mscorlib.dll::ThreadHelper::ThreadStart_Context::Video buffer underflows. -

Is it whatever this mscorlib.dll is? It won't finalize the disc. I have been banging my head against the wall trying to fix it. Here is my specs:

This is a new computer, built from scratch. I am not the greatest when it comes to all this tech stuff, so, if someone could easily assist, I'd appreciate it.

A quick Google search shows that mscorblib most likely related to .NET Framework:

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/15061977/what-does-mscorlib-stand-for

It's possible that your computer needs some old .NET Frameworks installed. In W10, go to Apps and Features and select Programs and Features:

Then in the window that opens, click on the link highlighted by the red arrow:

In the window that opens, check all 3 checkboxes highlighted by the red arrow if they are not already checked:

If not all checked, W10 should automatically install those old .NET Frameworks and hopefully that may solve the issue. If it doesn't, please get back to this thread and provide a detailed MediaInfo report (a free app) on the media that you are using in DVDA.

Hello,

I went in and updated things. Didn't fix my issues. Went back in to Vegas to re-encode. I had originally did my encodes in the AVC through the Main Concept on Blu-ray 1920x1080p at 25mpbs. I went in and re-encoded them through the Sony AVC/MVC section. I went through and customized the Blu-ray 1920x1080p at 16mpbs and maxed it at 22. That worked.

However, ran into a new problem. Buttons don't seem to work and on some of my test outputs, the screens are black/blank. I was given multiple audio tracks to add to the film. I made blank buttons and filled in the texts and selected the proper audio and subtitle selections on the project but it all defaults back to the first audio track.

For some reason on the initial report I posted it claims I am using Windows 10, it really is Windows 11. I have Vegas and DVDA on my other PC, I am going to move the data over there to test it out and see if it fixes the issues.

The following are the video render settings that I've been using during the last couple of weeks for BD creation in DVDA 6.0:

I've fairly much been using these settings for years, the main difference being the variable bit rate settings which would likely be reduced the longer the length of the project. The above project is about 80 mins in length.

The Vegas Pro edit is just about all 4K media. And I'm using Windows 11.

Buttons leading to black suggests that DVDA is not happy with the media linked to those buttons.

I can't assist with subtitling as I don't use subtitling and I only use one audio track (AC3 5.1) for the main project.

Are your audio selection buttons linking to the videos or to another menu before playing the videos?

OrlandoEastwoodFilms wrote on 7/11/2023, 12:18 AM

I should have worded it better, it was late when I made the post. I was sleepy.

Okay, the menus were displaying black screens. Re-authoring the disc files again just magically fixed it. However, the buttons are still giving me issues. I haven't had a chance to move the files over to my other computer. Basically, setting the buttons to which audio track, it all defaults to the first audio track on the movie file. Even deleting the button and re-inserting it and re-authoring on this computer changes nothing. The subtitle track is blank, I'm replacing it with the SRT script I wrote in Subtitle Edit and swapping it out through re-authoring in MultiAVCHD.
