Is there any way at all the know what plugin these messages are talking about? I'm in the process of updating a few of our PBS show and it would be nice to know what to look for in order to replace.
Thanks.

I know what you mean. Sometimes the error message on opening an old VP project in a later VP version identifies the missing plugin, but often it doesn't. I wish that it did all the time. The reason may lie with a plugin that was used with the original project is no longer installed, or has been updated and the latest update doesn't recoginise the original plugin version - I've that happen in the past.

Yes, it's definitely because a plugin is no longer on the system or something to that effect but it sure doesn't help when it's telling me that is "95dd906b-6052-bba9-bcc568758a52". It could be a Boris plugin because of the "bcc" but beyond that it's of no help in trying to find what might need needed in order to update a project.

That's just the GUID for the plugin. The "bcc" in the last section means nothing - it's just part of the GUID. It "could" be Boris but it doesn't have to be. Unfortunately, the best way to find out what plugin that is would be to search the registry on a machine for 95dd906b-6052-bba9-bcc568758a52 that has that plugin installed which could then lead you to the correct plugin name.

I searched for that number on a couple of machines here and did not find a match. So I'm guessing it's probably not a NewBlue plugin. Perhaps someone else with other plugins installed could search their registry for a match unless you still have access to the old machine and could search the registry there.

Also on my PC the search for this plugin in the registry was fruitless.
