Event pan /crop not appearing (Vegas Pro 15 - build 177)

Hello,

It's years since I've used Vegas (last time was Pro 8) but I cannot for the life of me get the event pan / crop window to appear in VP 15. I've tried clicking the icon, double clicking it, right clicking and then selecting the option from the menu, but all to no avail - the pane is just not appearing.

There's a video demonstrating the issue but it's hard to see what's going on. First few seconds are a close up of me clicking, double clicking then right clicking. Then there's a whole screen grab to show that the pane doesn't appear.

This is happening on everything - QHD video clips, 1080 video clips, generated titles etc.

I've hunted around the Internet but just can't find the answer.

Help appreciated.

Cheers

JK.

Good spot mateuszszar! ๐Ÿ‘

When I lose mine, it's usually behind the full-screen preview on my secondary monitor.

That's some pair of peepers you've got there mateuszszar! I was just not spotting that at all.

I changed back to default layout but the event pan/crop was still hidden right down there. Despite trying every layout it would still not allow me to drag the pane up. In the end the solution was to move my windows task bar to the top of my monitor which then allowed me to eventually drag the pane up.

Now, each time I click event pan crop it appears in the middle of the screen where I dragged it to, so hopefully that's that. I've reset my windows taskbar back to the bottom (couldn't handle the Aussie set up).

Mateuszszar - thanks again for the spot.

Cheers

Jonathan.

It might also help to turn your windows 10 taskbar off. I lose windows down there all the time. Super annoying 'cause you can't grab them.
