Is there a solution to this chronic problem that frequently occurs (no response) when pressing the ctrl+z keys? How on earth has Vegas not been able to solve this problem for dozens of generations?

vegas365(vegas22)
It is i7 12700k + 64G + 4070ti and is working at 1080P.
Is the hassle of having to press ctrl+s every time you press ctrl+z, which you use countless times, worth the expensive program that costs hundreds of dollars every year?
For me it sometimes occurs when I press ctrl+z very quickly after some action. But if not quick then it happens much rarely I think
Well, I have rarely, if ever experienced that problem with the keyboard shortcut of undo, and I use it when necessary. And this for me is from VP14-VP22. But then, I do incremental saves as I work on my projects no matter what editing software I am using.
I've used BorisFX Continuum, NBFX TotalFX, Sapphire Units, proDAD or anything else in my projects and never an issue with 'undo'. And I am a touch typist (don't look at keys while typing), depending on keyboard shortcuts to speed up my editing.
But I am curious, "dozens of generations"? Really? When did then exactly start? Yet, this is the first post about it?
