Expanded Edit mode - I want to disable it..

Expanded edit mode keeps on popping up when I hold down click on clips to shorten them or lengthen them, and it somehow picks up a double click, therefore opening up expanded edit mode, which I found EXTREMELY annoying when I'm trying to edit a big project and sync up clips, or just generally edit. Is there any way to disable expanded edit more, or at least to prevent it from coming up when i "double click"?

Are you using a Razer Deathadder mouse by any chance? I had 2 of them that started double-clicking.

I don't think there is a way to prevent that. Pressing 5 on the keypad will exit that mode.

Nice mouse, ruined by this ridiculous double-click problem. Wish I could find something similar with 2 thumb buttons. I love my Microsoft Comfort Mouse 6000 but it's discontinued. If I could find somewhere with stock I would buy 3 more to use in the future.
