Extrenal monitor preview freezes entire computer

So, I click on preview on external monitor black screen shows on the monitor and the entire computer is non-responsive, cursor doesn't move, keyboard doesn't work, even the touchpanel does not react, literally there is nothing else to do, than hard reboot.

I believe you will face issues again after a full shutdown of the laptop, not just a restart. It seems that connecting a monitor to the HDMI port has woken up the dedicated GPU, good job! Let's hope it stays that way.

I'll be trying it, after turning it back on again, it's "fresh" and performs better, than after hours of running firefox.
