Fade over whole event makes event icons disapear

Been playing arond with VP today because of the "Rulers" thread. I just noticed that when one drags the fade corner from one side across a whole event that the FX and PAN/Crop icons disapear.

Can some one confirm that?

Yep. It's been that way for quite a while (that I know of). You can right click the clip and choose to edit either the FX or Pan/Crop from the pop-up options list.

I am aware of that. Didn't know it's been around for a while. I have never used the fade over a whole event hence never noticed it until today.

Sorry -- no insult intended. Not sure how far back it goes, but I can confirm that it works that way in VP8 and VP12...

I usually zoom in tight and drag the fade back a few frames to expose the FX icons.
