Failing Array... Need Advice

Vegas Pro 13
Win 7-64

Hi Everyone,
The array that I've got all my project media on is failing. I've copied it all over to a backup drive, but it's a slow one. I plan to move it all over to a partition on my SSD, but am looking for suggestions. Vegas won't automatically prompt me for a new location because the files are still on my failing array. Is there a way to force Vegas to use a new path for video files? I read somewhere that I could just open up my project, then 'save as' and choose an option to copy all project media along with it... if I did this and saved it to my SSD, would that bring over all project media with it? I'm about 80% done with this project, but my failing array is making Vegas very difficult to work with due to lots of lag. Any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks!!

The quickest way is to rename a folder in the path to the media on the failing drive. That will force Vegas to ask you to point to a new location for the media. One letter in the path will do.
