Hi,

My system keeps crashing with the fault code below when I try render the video out using any of the render codecs. It working with around 700 gig of video data from several types of camera types, so this maybe the issue? The cut I'm trying to render is solely using .mxf from a Sony F54.

Problem Description
   Application Name:    VEGAS Pro
Application Version: Version 19.0 (Build 643)
   Problem:             Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)
   Fault Module:        C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\iigd_dch.inf_amd64_08a52cf2f322ba79\igxelpicd64.dll
   Fault Address:       0x00007FFAE8293AD0
   Fault Offset:        0x0000000000373AD0

Any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Phil

Well I've manged to sort this by putting the entire 700gig onto a SSD drive which seems to have worked! It must have been a HD speed issue.

Thanks for those who responded....joke!

The error code suggests an Intel graphics driver and this CPU seems to have an Intel® UHD Graphics 770. I don't see how hard drive speed would help or hurt. I also don't now what to advise other than trying different drivers or filing a support request to see if it's a known issue.

Thanks Roger. As long as it works for now I leave it alone. Once I've finished this project I'll have a look. I'll send a request in and see what they say and report back my findings.

Further update. All fingers and both thumbs pointing at NVidia

This from Neal at Magix HQ, see below. I haven't actually tried it yet as I'm in mid edit, although I did go into Options - Preference - Video and switched 'GPU acceleration of video processing' to off. This seems to work for now.

The crash is occurring within the igdrclneo64.dll. This is the OpenCL component of the NVidia driver. Doing some research, it appears this component has been quite problematic as of late.

It is potentially a conflict with intel driver support.

You can also try uninstalled both NVidia and Intel drivers with DDU, then disabled Intel graphics in the bios. You can find DDU here: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Then reinstalled the NVidia graphics drivers, but manually, via the device manager, letting it pick the minimal drivers files from the folder.

Of late intel (graphics) allows a clean install of new driver. Nvidia has had this option for many years.. Clean install implies old driver uninstalled so no option of roll back to previous drivers. The logic of excluding intel graphics makes no sense unless magix know of a problem within vegas.
