feature suggestion: defining rectangular masks by pixel size

Mindmatter wrote on 11/29/2022, 11:50 AM

Hi all

as of now, there is no way tp precisely or exactly draw a rectangular or square mask, or to save them as presets.

All we can do currently is draw them by hand, which can be tedious and unprecise, and also makes it hard to duplicate them exactly.

It would be great if there was a box where we could simply type in length and width, like in photoshop, or determine the diameter of a circle.

The mask system also seems a bit buggy at times, when it suddenly becomes inpossible to select a mask without selecting other masks simultanusly that touch or overlap. Also, they sometimes seem to switch on or off or be "active" randomly.

Just one of these little things that would greatly improve workflow in certain situations.

Thanks.

You should put "Feature Request" in your title, or post your suggestion in the existing thread if you don't want it to be overlooked by the developers.
