Film Convert (DR) causes VP19 to crash on startup

Right, but if it's installed in common files for another program *and crashes VEGAS* that's a problem. Is there anyway to avoid the crash?

There's an Internal preference named "OFX Excluded Plugins" that has a list (some Boris stuff) that you can add FilmConvertNitrate to. Whether it will keep Vegas from crashing I don't know, but when I added NeatVideo5SV to the list, it wasn't available as an effect after restarting Vegas.

Good tip! This does indeed keep Vegas from crashing when attempting to load the latest version of Filmconvert Nitrate OFX (version 3.56 just released).

Hold down shift and look for preferences to uncover an "internal" tab.

@Jamie-Roberts Filmconvert Nitrate gonna yield odd behavior if you even manage to get it working in Vegas. They disregarded Vegas support completely when development of Nitrate began..... The older version of Filmconvert Pro however works very well in Vegas.

Jamie says he's using it in Resolve, not VEGAS, but that it's crashing VEGAS.

Maybe the Vegas developers could move the excluded list option from the internal menu to Options/preferences menu.

I use Film Convert Pro OFX 2.20 which works great with Vegas.
You can try going back to this version.
