Freezing on render

Hi, MovieStudioPlatinum 17 Build 223 is freezing constantly on render. Can't say anything else.
I have to quit via Taskmanager.

If you can't say anything else, then there isn't much that can be done to help you.

It would help if we had some system information, media format information and what render settings you are using.

win 10 ; I7 4700 MQ; 8Gb RAM, till now no problems with vegas.
render:
MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4

Audio: 192 Kbit/s; 48.000 Hz; 16 Bit; Stereo; AAC

Even though written for VEGAS Pro, some points are also applicable for VEGAS Movie Studio as well.

The media source you are working can be one factor that leads to crash as well.

What is this source media and where it came from?

Hi set,
the video comes from a Panasonic S5: FHD, 8bit, 25p, PAL, MP4.

At the moment I try different settings of the render dialog, and there seem to be some that are working, but I am not sure.
The strange is, that I already have done some videos with this setting and had no problems, but mostly a different computer.

Any possible Windows updates that probably interferencing the stability of VMS?

I can only think of this so far...

other than that - will be render partially first... (I knew there is an option to render to Apple ProRes in VEGAS Pro version, but can't remember the VEGAS Movie Studio export options.)

I cannot find it so presumably it isn't in VMS17Plat.

To me it looks one of these options, depending on the goal for the rendered mp4
