Help Activating Vegas Pro 18

Hello all, I just bought VEGAS Pro 18 off of the Magix website, I received the email with the serial number and download link and everything. So I went to download it, everything installed just fine, but when I try to open the software it says that there is an error because no license is active. I went back on my Magix account, I can clearly see that VEGAS Pro 18 and SoundForge 14 are under my registered products, but when I click "show more details" it says that no devices have been activated to use it. When I go to activate the device in the same support menu, I enter the serial number and device name and it says "no activation can be created at this time, please try again later." What am I missing, why can't I activate my license?

EDIT: In case anyone else ever has this issue, I uninstalled the program through Windows and redownloaded it by going to My Products on Magix's website and using the installation link there. The only thing I did differently was I let it go to the default file path instead of the one I wanted it to go to, and it worked fine. Very strange, but perhaps I just had a faulty download.

No idea, but normally it goes like this after starting by doubleclicking the startpic on your desktop

You have to fill-in your email adress that you like to use and is yours, than

2.

You have to fill-in the code you got by email send to you, after doing that comes

3.
and you will have to click the yellow bar and wait untill the registration has being send and confirmed by Magix and starts the program

First off, thank you for the reply, I am trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible to start using it for work. When I doubleclick the VEGAS icon on my desktop, the very first thing that happens is an Error Message, ID -5 and then a separate box pops up that says no license has been activated. None of the screenshots you show have ever popped up. Should I just wipe everything I try to reinstall the program?

Exactly as described by jv, the process normally works.

It is always good to save screenshots of the error messages and then put them in here.
