Help! Waves Clarity VX, Noise reduction vst plugin not working

Came here to complain about the same issue. Waves told me that Vegas and Soundforge are not officially supported by them. Shame. Most of Waves plugins do work in Vegas but Clarity does not. I own Izotope RX9 and Spectralayers Pro. Excellent tools. But Clarity is so fast and easy to use and sounds great. Used it on a job where I had to record interviews with a call centre in the background. Really made a difference but I had to bounce the audio and do the edits in Soundforge then bring back to Vegas. I wish the Vegas team would investigate and try to get Clarity to work directly in Vegas (RX9 voice denoiser can). Ed

+1 Fwiw, Clarity Vx works fine on the mixer FX in Video Pro X (12), but not in VEGAS Pro 19.

Hope this does get supported down the line, would be an interesting plugin to work in Vegas Pro 19.0 😐

Clarity is indeed a game changer tbh. I do a lot of work for Waves as a QA tester (for last 15+ years, among others). I am finding that most of the Waves 14 plugins (VST3 shells), actually don't get picked up at all in Vegas 20. (Even after waiting for "this plugin is taking along time to scan" etc.)

However, Clarity itself (VST3) does get picked up and works fine in Vegas 20. (Bear in mind the full VX Pro version is very CPU hungry). I would very rarely insert this kind of plugin as an effect in Vegas, usually I'll process the audio separately.

I also own all the Izotope plugs and Clarity is a different ball game.

Spectralayers is of course amazing but the workflow is very different from the Clarity approach. (I also work for Steinberg as Brand Ambassador Pro Audio).

Acon Digital's stuff is getting there too. Very smooth and fast.

Anyhow, I have reported this to Waves directly and see if there is any info offered. I suspect this may be a simple timing issue on the part of Vegas as the "Waveshell1" contains the majority of the plugins.
