Horrible Screeching Noise

I recently got Vegas Pro 15.0 and I was importing movies to make scene packs. All of the movies come from one source and one movie worked absolutely fine but one causes problems. It definitely works in VLC Media Player, the audio is fine but when I import it, there are no peaks and the audio is just an extremely loud screech. I've tried to finding something to help but no one seemed to have the problem I have. I don't understand why one movie is fine but this one isn't. I don't know if any other movies I have present the same problem but I would love if someone could offer advice.

My dish-washer machine cleans some of the pots perfectly, some other bowls not so well. All those pots can be washed by hand perfectly. What's the problem?

What's that "same source". Did you compare mediainfo of clips which work and which don't?

Lookup a free program "Mediainfo".

That tells basically everything about a video file, such as bitrate, codecs, streams, framrate, etc...

If you still have no clue after comparing those properties post here the mediainfos. At last if you can host somewhere share a non-working clip with us.
