How do you guys monitor video while you edit?

I'm interested to know exactly how you guys monitor video while you edit?

For example...

- just in a Vegas window on a single computer monitor
- in a Vegas window filling one of dual computer monitors
- on an external TV
- on an external pro video monitor?
- on a computer monitor + and on a TV or pro video monitor
- DVRack???

... and, CRT or LCD for each of the above?

Personally I monitor on a single LCD computer monitor and on a 21" Sony Trinitron CRT TV about 4' or 5' behind it to one side, plus the little LCD screen of my Sony GVD900E deck is there too. But I'm weighing up options for the future, hence the question. Pretty sure I want to go dual monitor but would that be enough?

Spot, I had allready seen few of those threads. That's why I made this remark. I thought this was a thing of the past.

In fact, I have'nt noticed a BS thread here, in few months.

I don't think it will ever be a thing of the past, it crops up with regularity. This subject and copyright seem to be the two hair triggers. I'm reasonably confident this one will explode too. Except I'll duck out of this thread before that happens.

Hey, I use LCD monitors for everything too. Except as I move into my new office after CES, I'll have 12 of them in one room, plus 2 NTSC monitors.
I pray that LCD's don't make you lose your hair or something. :-)
