How to import a video and keep the framerate of the recording?

Hello,

A while back I reinstalled my Windows and ofcourse I had to reinstall everything. Before that I was using Sony Vegas pretty often as it worked easy with what I was doing. I'm recording games in 240FPS (using OBS) and I would like to keep the framerate when I import the video into Sony Vegas. That worked perfectly before I reset my Computer. Now most of my settings aren't the same anymore and the video changes to a random project setting as a default. Someone please help me with that. :(

Videofile is a MP4 | Framerate (which I recorded my gameplay with) 240FPS

The answer may be in point #2 of this post: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-make-my-video-preview-play-smoothly-in-vegas-pro--104624/

Also note that you can save default project properties with the box at the bottom of the Project Properties window that says "Start all new projects with these properties".

Now I have got the problem that It still doesn't change to 240FPS in the playback and If you use your tip (2. MATCH PROJECT PROPERTIES) it only changes to 100FPS not my 240FPS which I would like to have in the playback. If I stay on 100 or 120FPS my recording is being played slow. It's NOT lagging. It's just going through EACH frame that I got in the clip = Slowed playback and unsynced audio.

(GIF of my clip playback) https://gyazo.com/b60b8f99c66b2531c037fd981dd30ad9

[Quick Info] this is only a 4minute clip recorded in 240FPS

Before I reinstalled Windows it just skipped some frames - played the video but ofcourse to the value I set it in the project settings OR I just imported the video without doing nor changing anything in the project settings and it played it (project settings were 240 FPS 1280x720 my real problem is that I can't set it to 240FPS by myself).

Vegas Pro's project properties are limited to 120 fps. Any framerate above will be considered to be used for slomo purpose.
MainConcept AVC supports export of frame rates up to 172 fps though it doesn't make sense with the project property limitation of 120 fps.

So if you're not going to make slomos I think it is pretty useless to use media framerates above 120 fps in Vegas Pro.

I edit gameplay to certain music. It requires me to slow things down. I also would like to see my 240FPS that I recorded in while editing it as it gives me the best feel of it/ quality of my finished product. How did I do it before If it is limited? That makes no sense I'm sorry. I would also appreciate If I only get solutions to my problem. No advice. Thanks for your input anyway It may inform others about it.
