Tiktok styles titles (letters in white blocks with rounded corners) are getting really popular and looks fancy. What is the easiest way to create a text like this in Vegas Pro? Just adding a white Outline with Width = 1 is giving a sloppy result, as there is too much feathering on edges. Maybe someone knows a good third party plugin?

Ouh This BG look on text. Its pretty common on Insta, IG and FB too. Not sure how you can recreate it in VP.
No automatic way to do it (good suggestion), but for now you could use Bezier masking on a Solid Color media generator track below the text track to make the shape.

lan-mLMC method turned out pretty good and not that slow, especially if creating necessary presets.Though it lacks inner rounded corners.

@gary-rebholz That's what i was thinking or create a png background but they have several lines it says, an auto background to fit each text would be good,
@moi I'd use Boris Title Studio but it isn't cheap, this sort of thing would be good for me as i often put text on a slightly opaque background to help make it stand out from the media clip, I've had a look on Title Studio & a background with rounded corners is certainly poss, making it auto fit to suite the individual written text is another thing, I've asked on their forum. ..
This is the closest i can get in Title Studio, the white background is applied auto, it doesn't exactly wrap around the text, it's just a rounded rectangle, separate text lines would have to be created slightly over lapping each other & animate at the same time, , I don't know how your text animates on,
