How to remove all changes to an event?

I have a multi-second event such as a still image. I am experimenting with different changes such as pan/crop, color corrections, etc. Sometimes I try 3 or more different things to get an effect I'm after--sometimes a lot more than 3. But there are times when I just want to cancel all the changes and start over. Is there a way to do that?

I know I can go Edit--> Undo, x number of times but sometimes I forget how many changes I've made to the event. I just want to hit a key or menu item and get back to the original event.

Hope that makes sense.

Bill

Yes, it's possible.

From Help:

Undo a series of actions
Click the arrow next to Undo button. A list of the most recent actions that you can undo is displayed.

Select the action you want to undo. If the action does not appear in the list, use the scroll bar to scroll through the list. The selected action and all actions above it are reversed.

I've got another way that works for me:

"Save early, save often."

I sometimes have a dozen or so projects saved before I settle on the version I like, or want to work with further.

Save Early, Save Often is now my new mantra, that's for sure.

Hopefully I didn't miss something in the question.

I suppose the other answers help if you made all the changes to the event at the same time, But:

If you didn't make the changes one after the other - i.e. you made a change to one clip, moved to others, came back and made more changes and so on; I think it'd be a pain to go to your UNDO list and pick them out.

Or, even if you did make the changes one after the other:

To 'repristine' a clip/event, why not delete the modified clip from your timeline and reinsert the original unmodified file and start over?

The end result is the same, and easier than selectively deleting changes.

Doc, if the event was split from a larger one, replacing and syncing it will not be easy. If the event is the entire file, then maybe.

This question wasn't asking about 'split' clips. The question was specific:
"I have a multi-second event such as a still image."

But, even if it was a 'split' file, the 'split' was a modification and the question asked how to cancel Wouldn't you agree a 'split' is a type of change to the original file? And if someone wanted to cancel 'all' their changes, we can assume it includes the 'split'. Or am I missing something that says a 'split' is not a 'change.?
