How to render 24.000 fps (or 30.000 etc.) ProRes in Vegas Pro

Even though 24, 30 and 60 don't appear in the frame rate dropdown list in the MAGIX ProRes custom settings, you can type them manually and it works. Typing needs to be the last thing you do before rendering, or it will change back to 23.976 etc., and you can't save a custom template as it will also change back. It would be nice to see those frame rates in the dropdown list, and perhaps even 24.000 offered in some standard templates.

I assume it's a custom template that Set saved. You can save a custom template and as long as you click the save icon immediately after typing "24", the template will create 24.000fps files, even though it shows 23.976 thereafter. The custom template correctly shows 24fps in the Format description. Clearly there's a bug that needs fixing.

it was recently saved custom template. And we all agree this was a bug.

But clearly shows the function (mxhevcplug.dll exporting to ProRes function) is working.

True 24p, 30p and 60p frame rates have been added to the dropdown menu of frame rates in VP14 build 211. Thanks Magix! 👍

I would like to see standard rendering templates added at least for 24p as it's the standard film frame rate.

The release notes also mention 60i, which I think is an error, assuming that doesn't really mean 29.97i (frames per second) has only just been added. Interlacing rightly only seems to be available with the 422 codec at 25fps or 29.97fps at select resolutions up to 1920x1080. In fact it would actually be worth adding standard templates for a handful of those too, such as ProRes 422 1920x1080-60i (60i, in "Vegas-speak", meaning 29.97 frames per second, 59.94 fields per second).
